How do we stamp out creeping fascism in the USA?

Well before you answer, lets make sure we are all on the same wave lenght as to what is fascism.

Then, give me your ideas on how to keep america free from those so called americans who want us to turn the USA into a clone of Nazi germany.

How do we stamp out creeping fascism in the USA?
We just need to get over this paranoia.

The way that fascism worked is that people decided it was worth it to feel safe. Once we stop being so damn scared of everything, we'll be set.
Reply:Actually fascism is more simply defined as private interests controlling the government. The reverse of this concept, but just as evil, is Marxism which is also gaining acceptance rapidly in the USA. Marxism is heavy government control over private interests. You cannot counteract Fascism with Marxism the Democrats approach. And you cannot counter Marxism with Fascism the Republicans approach.

Both are bad, we need Liberty! We need Ron Paul.

Why Ron Paul? Because his is the cause of Liberty. And Liberty defeats both Fascism and Marxism. There is your answer. Go to youtube and type in a search for Ron Paul - scroll down and watch "Ron Paul - A New Hope"

I think you will find your answer on how to end Fascism there.
Reply:He forgot something; transparency. The United States Government is easily reachable, dissectible, and sometimes contradictory, whereas NAZI Germany and other regimes were not. Those 14 points can be argued in most countries, but the level of transparency within government is really the deciding factor when naming fascist regimes.

To stay out of trouble with the bottle throwing hippies, we must stay transparent in all matters not secret, and allow a healthy dose of dissident voice throughout the country.
Reply:Don't elect any Democrats.
Reply:Thanks for posting this question! Although I have major trouble believing in the NAU, the other parts are spot on. This nationalism/cult of the military is especially described well, as is the xenophobia, which ties in with the big national distraction.

Anyway, to stamp this out we need to dismantle the infamous military-industrial complex and stop using war as a major foreign policy tool. To do this in my opinion, we need to elect truly progressive/liberal politicians who realize that every man/nation is not an island unto himself/itself. I know that is a hard thing to think about, especially on Y!Answers, but it's true.
Reply:wowzers, the US has basically all those except point 5. You know how some people say "I'll be with you in spirit"...some people have mullets "in spirit" (neocons)
Reply:Vote Democrat.
Reply:don't vote democrat is the best way.
Reply:extremist on ALL sides, the left and the right are equally bad!

balance and the middle is the way to go!
