Why is it that the creeping socialist democrats hate the mention of Sen. Joe McCarthy's name?

The McCarthy hearings were held and he came across as over zealous. The people he brought in to testify that hid behind the fifth amendment dug their own graves. McCarthy didn't have them banned from anything. The Hollywood crowd behind the scenes worked under different names and others didn't get hired by the studio's because their hierarchy for the most part were patriots and were afraid to take a chance. Those who were so called blackballed, like that directer Biederman, only have themselves to blame. Biederman's wife worked all through the blackball era and Biederman let her be the breadwinner while he continued his socialist way of life. We now have the offspring of those who brought up their children despising the USA in charge of our higher education. They hire Super liberal professors who get tenure and influence their students. Conservatives are shouted down on College Campus' and are rarely invited to speak. Don't they have a right to be heard? ACLU?

Joe McCarthy was for taking away Constitutional rights based on political choice, the ACLU defends Americans Constitutional rights. Ask the gun owner in Texas that they are fighting for.(1.)

"creeping socialist democrats" hate the mention of McCarthy's name because it represents a kind of flag waiving nationalism that borders on fascism. true conservatives, like Ron Paul for example, are more popular on the college scene than a decade ago.

The ACLU has a history of supporting the rights of anyone to march or speak. They helped the American Nazis get permission to march in Skoky, Illinois. They've represented the KKK on several occasions.
