How do you get rid of creeping charlie?

i have tried everything. i've tried weed be gone solution and that doesn't work. i've tried just ripping it out at the roots that doesn't work. what's the solution?

How do you get rid of creeping charlie?
It responds well to chemicals... when reapplied and monitored for resprouting, it also helps to remove as much as possible by hand and plant grass that out performs the weed (cut high ---in the spring or fall).

You can use corn gluten as well, which is a natural substance- it is said to work better than many chemical based products. I have used it but not to treat creeping charlie.

Good luck with whatever you choose. It takes some attention.
Reply:spray clorox or tilex
Reply:the roots are pretty deep on the nasty stuff! i pull out as much as i can,and then put casaron granular weed killer on it. you need to water the stuff or wait till you know it's going to rain.it won't hurt your bigger bushes, but if there are any flowers around it they will die.you can plant the area next spring.
Reply:Have you tried Roundup? If so, try it or the Weed-B-Gone in a concentrated form and make the solution about twice the strength that the bottle directions tell you... You could use Triox, but that will kill the ground and you won't be able to get anything to grow there for about a year.
