Okay, about two nights ago, before I was going to bed, I noticed the closet doors slid shut. It was about 1am when I went to bed and I woke up three hours later. When I looked at the closet doors, one was slid half open. Nobody was in my room at any time during my sleep, because I would notice the door open. My window was wide open as well, and there was a bit of a breeze flowing in, but not enough to slide the closet door open. It's creepy, I seriously don't know what caused it to open. There's nothing in there except for a sleeping bag at the bottom, in the corner. The house I live in is fairly new. It's standing where my grandma's old house used to be. Well, it's a very long shot that her ghost would open the door, because she passed away in the hospital. Maybe I'm just paranoid? But, seriously, it's a bit scary. Well, my grandma was very kind and we have never held any grudges or anything against her so she's out of the question. What do you think?
This is kind of creeping me out.?
your grandma is not out of the question at all - she is free and not locked into the place her spirit left her earthly body...
you are right to question all possibly reasons other than something supernatural first.. it could have been a strong gust of wind..
if you think its your grandma, then trust your instincts, she is not holding a grudge or anything like that - maybe you are worrying about something and she is trying to re-assure you that you are going to be ok - do not be scared, for most people it feels odd to be in the presence of spirit as it is not something they have actively done before, so remember the feeling is just a different one to what you are used to.. if you had been taught from childhood that it is normal to feel these things you would not consider them silly, or find anything to fear....
Reply:An ajar closet door is hardly enough reason to consider supernatural visitations.
Reply:ur just paranoid i think, i really don't believe in anything paranormal, and i'm more scared of human than ghosts, if they really exist, just take chill pill and don't think more of it =P
Reply:Pack rats -- or zombie grandmas...
Reply:yup, pretty creepy.....i think ur insane
Reply:your may be a getting a little absent minded or groggy with
sleep whatever the reason I have not yet found evidence to
believe in ghost . ever sleep walk?
Reply:it slid open when you were asleep and didnt feel the gust of wind.
Reply:honestly? I think you're making too much of it.. I find it far more likely that you were sleep-walking than your grandmothers ghost opened the door. Alternatively, you said that your house is new... could it be that the house was undergoing some sort of settling process?
Reply:If it's just doors opening and closing, you don't really have anything to worry about. No one's been throwing things at you in your sleep or anything ^_^. Hopefully if it's your grandma she'll know enough not to open the window when it's cold out and you could get sick.
By the way, you could be sleep walking. I was visiting my fiance and was so exhausted with jet lag, that I actually got up, opened the door, and had a 5 minute conversation with 2 of his friends that came to check on me. I don't remember any of it, because I was asleep. Lol.
Reply:I think it was Satan looking for your Grandma's soul to take her to hell.
Reply:Poltergeist.......or your paranoid.
Both start with P which must be a sign.
*cue spooky music*
Reply:Sometimes you can do things like open a drawer in your sleep and forget you did it.
