There is a lot of it and it is mixed wtih my grass. There is to much to just spray with some Round up.

How do I kill creeping charlie in my lawn?
use a broadleaf herbicide to get rid of it
Reply:I would use my shotgun to kill creeping Charlie!

JUST KIDDING

Scotts Weed %26amp; Feed should do the trick. You might also try to keep the grass as long as you can by using the highest setting on your lawn mower. Also, only water it once or twice a week, but give it a good soaking. This will make the grass and roots stronger and help kill the weeks.
Reply:Healthy grass will choke out any weed just water and fertilize the grass and the turf should take over winter is almost her plan to put a pre emergent fertalizer/ weed killer on in spring
Reply:Creeping Charlie (ground ivy) is tough to get rid of. When we moved in to our current home, the property was vacant for two years. Every weed imaginable had overtaken the yard. There were no flower beds at the time so I applied Scott's weed 'n feed every three weeks @75% of the recommended rate using a drop spreader. I made it a point to do this early in the morning when the dew was still on the grass. And Presto! The weeds were gone and the lawn really came back strong.
