Got bad problem with creeping charlie and a type of broadleaf plant in my lawn. what should i use kill that?

Spraying ensures that your herbicide gets on the leaf where it can be immediately absorbed. Granules work best when the leaves are wet so they stick. Otherwise you are waiting for rain to splash the granules back onto the leaf. Remember that all herbicides immediately start to break down under ultraviolet light and when in contact with soil microbes. For this latter reason, I believe that spraying has a slight advantage.





RoundUp will work on creeping charlie if it's not in the lawn.If creeping charlie is in your lawn then use a broadleaf herbicide. Any broadleaf herbicide with 2,4-D will kill creeping charlie, especially if it's in bloom. If using a herbicidal control, always follow the directions on the label. Creeping charlie can be hand pulled and altering your lawn cultural procedures can help prevent further infestations.
