some sites tell me these need full sun, others say they do best in full shade....what gives?
Can anybody tell me about Creeping Lily Turf (Liriope spicata?)?
Creeping Lily Turf can actually handle equally about any lighting such as full sun, filtered sun, and deep shade.
Reply:liriope can take sun or shade. in intense hot sun however, the blades have a tendency to get scorch. if you go with the green liriope, they will spread by underground runners and can be invasive. i like the variegated because they do not spread and have a more formal appearance as a result.
