He's kinda creeping me out...?

I've been friends with a guy since 5th grade, he is a lovely person, and we are good friends. I've done nothing to imply that we're anything more than that, but recently, he's been calling me alot, and giving me presents that I don't want. So far, he gave me a necklace, roses and a pair of shoes. I gave them all back and explained I have a boyfriend who means the world to me %26amp; more. He seemed to get it and backed off for a little while. Then the calls started again, him saying that we should meet up, go to the movies or something. I didn't think that was such a bad idea, we are friends after all. Then, he told a mutual friend that he was going to ask me out the night we were going to go, so I cancelled, realising he hadn't backed off at all. He keeps calling me, and he's told this friend he's going to buy me a car. He's even called my mom to try and find out where I am twice. He's really freaking me out. My boyfriend's offered to talk with him, but I know that won't end in a good way!

I personally think that maybe he has something against your boyfriend and he is just trying everything in his power to break you guys up. I would just not answer the calls and avoid him as much as you can. There's no reason for someone to give you all them gifts like that unless they are your boyfriend. Come on, a necklace? That's, to me at least, something only he should give you. Have you told your boyfriend? If not I'd tell him asap before he finds out himself and you lose him.
Reply:Tell him your boyfriend wants to "talk to him". If he doesn't back off, and as long as neither of them ar 18, let your boyfriend take care of it. Trust me it's the only way to go I had to deal with the exact same thing. He hasn't bothered me for a year now.
Reply:wow... well he would b creeping me out too, but i think u should take him out of ur friend category for a while until he gets the point just keep him as a hi n bye friend... bcuz idk how ur bf is taking it but my bf wouldn't want me near or talking to anyone doing that... talk to him for the last time c what happens if he continues just stay away as much as possible and let him know he's creeping u out... if he tries to get aggressive i think is time u gte ur mother involved bcuz u dont know how crazy these obsessive freaks can get... take care
