Don't ask me. Ask Oprah.
Why is racism creeping into politics??????
Is it just now becoming an issue? I thought it had been around since time immemorial.
Reply:I was wondering about this yesterday myself. The news programs keep breaking down voting percentages by race - more than I've ever heard before. I like Obama (I prefer Hillary, though) but I think he does tend to refer to race more than he should. He should not be running as the "black" candidate, but as the "best" candidate.
I believe the news programs are fanning the flames more than anyone else, though.
Reply:It's always been there. Remember Lincoln? Now we have Obama to flip flop the opposite direction as Lincoln.
Reply:It's been there for decades....forever!
Reply:Creeping? Its been here a long time.
Reply:if anything its the opposite, its going away, but still there as in all walks of life these days.
Reply:its always been here, its just that a viable black candidate brings it more to the surface.
Reply:Because Hillary is losing...
Reply:Its been there from the start and i hate that crap.
Reply:People never understand that it doesn't matter whether the cat is black or white, the important thing is if it catches mice.
Yes, the Chinese proverb is correct. No matter who becomes the president, the important thing is if the person can really do what is needed.
Reply:creeping in? the entire Democratic process has revolved around it, listen to Obamas speeches on opression, and the comments he makes that WE would never have thought WE would have one of US for President? Racist!
Reply:Because everyone is a bit racist, if they admit it or not. Fact of life. Another reason is that Obabma is getting a lot of the black vote for just because he is black. To me that is as much racist as people voting against him for the same reason.
Reply:dude go back in time a look at what has been in the political parties.
