Reply:Round-up weed killer. Buy it at Home Depot
Reply:"Weed B Gon", brand name by Ortho Products. Won't kill surrending lawn area. "Roundup" is non selective and will everything else along with the charlie. If you don't care then use Roundup.
Reply:Any herbicide which contains 2,4-D (check the ingredients list on the bottle) will work and spray it in the fall.

I lost my recipe for killing Creeping Charley using Borateem. Anyone have the recipe?

University of Minnesota Extension offers a home remedy for killing creeping charlie that involves using Borax to control creeping charlie but use very carefully. Boron, the active ingredient in Borax, is an essential nutrient, needed in minute quantities for healthy plant growth. Amounts even slightly over what is needed are toxic to plants. Borax can be used against creeping charlie because the weed is more sensitive to boron than grass is. Small amounts can kill creeping charlie without permanently harming the lawn. Grass may brown a bit, but it will grow out of it. The problem is that boron does not dissipate or break down like standard weed-killers. If it is applied repeatedly or at too strong a rate, you will end up with an area where you cannot grow anything until the boron leaches out which may take years. Treat lawn with borax once each spring for 2 years. Here is the formula: Dissolve 6 oz. Twenty Mule Team Borax in 4 oz. warm water, then dilute it in 2 1/2 gallons water. This should be sprayed evenly over 1,000 square feet of lawn, no more, no less.

Is crab grass, quack grass and creeping charlie the same weed? What is effective against it?

not the same at all, crab grass and quack grass look similar except quack grass does not turn purple and die in the fall. Creeping charlie is a vine like weed that spreads over your lawn is also know ans a ground cover. get some weed control that coontains 24d for creeping charlie, super acclai m for grab crass and only way to get rid of quack greass is to either dig out and reseed or use total vegetation control such as Round-Up and reseed/sod as quack grass is a type of grass so are no control products available for control.

andto the Uh Huh all products that are put on a lawn are 100% biodegradable even the "chemicals" and will not leech into the soil do some research before running off at the mouth about something you know absolutely nothing about.

Hope this helps

Is crab grass, quack grass and creeping charlie the same weed? What is effective against it?
no not the same, creeping charlie is tough to kill...u need to find a good herbacide for it..i usually end up pulling it out by hand
Reply:harsh
Reply:The most "effective" thing is to realize it's green and leave it alone. This constant fight against anything that isn't lawn grass is the result of a huge advertising campaign on the part of chemical companies. These plants do no harm, and they only "look bad" if you have decided your lawn has to look like an indoor carpet, which of course would be silly.

Every chemical you pour onto your property poisons the earth.
Reply:no it's different

maybe using Weed Killers product solve the problem
Reply:I used to have a huge creeping charlie problem in my lawn. I've found Ortho Weed B Gone MAX works great.

Tips on transplanting perennial light purple creeping phlox?

Make sure you get a decent sized root ball. Also, make sure to loosen up the soil a little around the hole you place it in. It would be a good idea to wait until it is dormant as well (whenever trees lose their leaves in your area).

Tips on transplanting perennial light purple creeping phlox?
creeping phlox is very easy to transplant if you are separating it just cut it in half and place in soil and keep moist.

We used to take a clump of it and divide it in fours to make 4 plants out of it. As long as you keep it moist for a couple weeks while it takes root again you will be OK. This is a plant that is really hardy and hard to kill.
Reply:dig up the whole plant, and cut threw the middle of it with a

shovel and plant. its really easy.
Reply:Yuo should be able to transpant it , just be careful of the roots as they are sensitive, make sure you mist it often, and dont get alrmed if you wake up it it goes limp-its normal for it to go through a shocking period of 1-3 days. Just keeping "misting".

How can I keep Ivy from creeping through the fence into my yard?

We have a neighbor that has Ivy along their fences, and It keeps coming through the fence that seperates their property and ours. I do NOT want Ivy in my yard, what is the best way to keep it at bay?

How can I keep Ivy from creeping through the fence into my yard?
Spray it with weed killer. We have the same problem at a rental house . I spray it with "Roundup".
Reply:Weed whacker would do it. Brushing on Roundup on the part that comes through would be useful.
Reply:The only way I know to do that is to walk the fenceline and cut it back. I had a gardening job that had ivy and I just trimmed it a couple of times a year to keep it out of the places that I did not want it. You could talk to the neighbors and maybe enlist their help in the trimming. That would be the nice way. If you were to spray it with roundup it would die but it wouldnt be very good for the neighborly relationship.
Reply:Keep snipping it back!!!!!!!
Reply:I Love Ivy but to each their own.

Could you put some type of barrier on your side of the fence.

I'm thinking like that black plastic border that people use along their flower garden to stop the weeds from invading the flowers.

It comes in a big roll which can be found at Home Depot or Lowe's. It's fairly cheap.

How do I get rid of Creeping Charlie without damaging my lawn?

I prefer natural products or methods (although it's too late to try digging it out by hand...)

How do I get rid of Creeping Charlie without damaging my lawn?
Go to Home Depot or a garden center and ask for a product that's made to kill creeping charlie. Ortho makes one. Depending on where you are, you may want to wait until it cools off a bit as creeping charlie can get a little waxy coating during the heat of summer and it won't take in the chemicals too well. Apply a second time after 10 days. Stay away from desirable plants. Apply when there is no wind and no chance for rain.
Reply:There's a product called "weed and feed". It furtilizes the grass and kills the weeds. I think it's made by Scott and you can get it at Home Depot.
Reply:chickweed (charlie) is redially dispatched with a spray of Ortho's weed-be-gone. Won't harm lawn if used as directed. I like natural products also, so I naturally turn to Ortho.
Reply:im not too much of a garden person, so I dunno.

How can I get rid of Creeping Charlie, a weed, in my lawn?

Wisconsin lawn

How can I get rid of Creeping Charlie, a weed, in my lawn?
Mix 5 teaspoons of borax and 1 quart water. Mix it exactly: too little and it won't kill the Creeping Charlie, too much and you could kill your grass. Using a pump bottle, spray on the weeds. This mixture won't kill dandelions and other weeds but will get rid of Creeping Charlie. If you see some yellowing in the surrounding grass after you've sprayed, mow it frequently and it should color up within 6 weeks. Always try to use environmentally safe products. Our planet needs our help. I hope this helps.
Reply:Round-up will kill it for u
Reply:I lived in MI and bought a house that the lawn was 80 percent creeping charlie, this is how we got rid of MOST of it. Use only weed killer, weed and feed just FEEDS, after application and the weed leaves start to turn brown use a lawn rake and rake up the weed. We pulled up big piles of it. Than reaaply weed killer. This is somewhat labor intensive but it works. We did that all spring and in the summer/fall put down lawn seed and by next spring had a nice lawn. GOOD LUCK
Reply:Go to a garden store and look for products that is a weed control. Read the label on the product to see if it will only take care of the weed or it is harmful for any other like grass, or gardens.
Reply:get some weed killer...kills weeds..but not your grass (if you have any that is)
Reply:weed-be-gone works great.....on my wisconsin lawn
Reply:I use floral scented Bleach to kill the weeds in my garden. Just spray on before a sunny day and it lasts for 3 to 4 weeks.
Reply:buy 20 mule team borax laundry additive mix it with water and spray on plants do this when the weather is dry (no rain)

How do you get rid of creeping charlie?

i have tried everything. i've tried weed be gone solution and that doesn't work. i've tried just ripping it out at the roots that doesn't work. what's the solution?

How do you get rid of creeping charlie?
It responds well to chemicals... when reapplied and monitored for resprouting, it also helps to remove as much as possible by hand and plant grass that out performs the weed (cut high ---in the spring or fall).

You can use corn gluten as well, which is a natural substance- it is said to work better than many chemical based products. I have used it but not to treat creeping charlie.

Good luck with whatever you choose. It takes some attention.
Reply:spray clorox or tilex
Reply:the roots are pretty deep on the nasty stuff! i pull out as much as i can,and then put casaron granular weed killer on it. you need to water the stuff or wait till you know it's going to rain.it won't hurt your bigger bushes, but if there are any flowers around it they will die.you can plant the area next spring.
Reply:Have you tried Roundup? If so, try it or the Weed-B-Gone in a concentrated form and make the solution about twice the strength that the bottle directions tell you... You could use Triox, but that will kill the ground and you won't be able to get anything to grow there for about a year.

How do we stamp out creeping fascism in the USA?

Well before you answer, lets make sure we are all on the same wave lenght as to what is fascism.

http://www.ellensplace.net/fascism.html

Then, give me your ideas on how to keep america free from those so called americans who want us to turn the USA into a clone of Nazi germany.

How do we stamp out creeping fascism in the USA?
We just need to get over this paranoia.

The way that fascism worked is that people decided it was worth it to feel safe. Once we stop being so damn scared of everything, we'll be set.
Reply:Actually fascism is more simply defined as private interests controlling the government. The reverse of this concept, but just as evil, is Marxism which is also gaining acceptance rapidly in the USA. Marxism is heavy government control over private interests. You cannot counteract Fascism with Marxism the Democrats approach. And you cannot counter Marxism with Fascism the Republicans approach.

Both are bad, we need Liberty! We need Ron Paul.

Why Ron Paul? Because his is the cause of Liberty. And Liberty defeats both Fascism and Marxism. There is your answer. Go to youtube and type in a search for Ron Paul - scroll down and watch "Ron Paul - A New Hope"

I think you will find your answer on how to end Fascism there.
Reply:He forgot something; transparency. The United States Government is easily reachable, dissectible, and sometimes contradictory, whereas NAZI Germany and other regimes were not. Those 14 points can be argued in most countries, but the level of transparency within government is really the deciding factor when naming fascist regimes.

To stay out of trouble with the bottle throwing hippies, we must stay transparent in all matters not secret, and allow a healthy dose of dissident voice throughout the country.
Reply:Don't elect any Democrats.
Reply:Thanks for posting this question! Although I have major trouble believing in the NAU, the other parts are spot on. This nationalism/cult of the military is especially described well, as is the xenophobia, which ties in with the big national distraction.

Anyway, to stamp this out we need to dismantle the infamous military-industrial complex and stop using war as a major foreign policy tool. To do this in my opinion, we need to elect truly progressive/liberal politicians who realize that every man/nation is not an island unto himself/itself. I know that is a hard thing to think about, especially on Y!Answers, but it's true.
Reply:wowzers, the US has basically all those except point 5. You know how some people say "I'll be with you in spirit"...some people have mullets "in spirit" (neocons)

How do you start pink creeping phlox?

It came in a bag not in a pot. Looks more like a mixture of grass, dirt and saw dust?

How do you start pink creeping phlox?
the grass is the creeping phlox plant...the dirt was probaly connected to the phlox at one time,,,the sawdust is just used to keep the moisture in during transport...creeping phlox is started by division, so you must have ordered it and they sent you a small division or cluster of the plant, hopefully with the roots attached...plant it with the roots barely covered and the "grass" above the ground in a good potting mix in a shady spot until you are sure it is growing...its hard to get it started from a small division so all I can say is good luck!
Reply:I just planted 15 plants this spring, and they are all growing very well.

I planted them on a hill where the soil is well drained. I watered it every day for about 2 1/2 weeks until is showed sings of growing. (New shoots) Now I water it about once a week if it hasn't rained.

They like well drained soil, but need regular moisture. I keep all the other vegetation cut back until that start growing and spreading so that they can take over. They are in full sun and they seem to like it, because they have more than doubled in about a month and a half.

Next year they should be less maintenance.

Good luck

Which [possibly] scented low growing/creeping plants could you use to make a lawn that never needs to be cut?

thymes are scented, but they look straggly and grow too high.

would saxifrage work, or are the too delicate.

in all of the above..i am thinking of very minimal wear from shoes...as i would like to walk on it barefoot to relax, revitalise and be kind to my feet......after all theyve done for me !!

Which [possibly] scented low growing/creeping plants could you use to make a lawn that never needs to be cut?
I use clover ,blue daze and thyme as a lawn alternative.

they all feel great on the feet and have different textures.
Reply:creeping thymes would work, but would need really good drainage.
Reply:Hello again - try a look at this website: %26lt;www.camomilelawns.co.uk%26gt;
Reply:The swan river daisy would work alright as it also comes in various colours. Liriope muscari is worth a look to as it is a clumping plant although not very tall and is fantastically lush ,green and soft to lie amongst. a mixture of both of these would give great contrast in height colour and texture and would look fantastic.
Reply:Thyme,peppermint royal,lemon thyme, cammomile.
Reply:Yes, reconsider creeping Thyme.

One of the shortest is named, "Elfin."

http://mountainvalleygrowers.com/groundc...

Pink Chintz Thyme and Mint Thyme are close on the heels of Elfin with similar color and woolly texture but spreading out further.

http://mountainvalleygrowers.com/thyprae...

Spicy Orange thyme, creeping lemon thyme and Caraway thyme all bear pink blooms and stay short ...4" or less.

There are other "flavors" of creeping thyme, including lime, oregano, lavender and coconut. Some types bear variegated foliage.

As your feet brush against the thyme, its fragrance will be released! The Elizabethan writer, Francis Bacon had this fact in mind when he refers to thyme in his essay, Of Gardens. In listing desirable plants, Bacon mentions:

"[T]hose which perfume the air most delightfully, not passed by as the rest, but being trodden upon and crushed, are three; that is, burnet, wild-thyme, and watermints. Therefore you are to set whole alleys of them, to have the pleasure when you walk or tread."

http://landscaping.about.com/od/herbplan...

Also consider Bacon's other two suggestions mints %26amp; burnet.

Here's a picture of burnet as ground cover:

http://www.io.com/~wilsone/perennialbord...

Corsican mint (M. requienii). Grows only half an inch tall %26amp; has small, purple flowers. "makes a wonderful ground cover in sun or partial shade for gardeners with ample water. It releases a minty or sage-like fragrance when pressed or stepped on and was a favorite cover for garden benches in medieval gardens". This mint is used as the flavoring in creme de menthe.

Clover can grow by itself. The only reason people would mix grass %26amp; clover together is that grass stands up to heavy foot traffic better.

Clover doesn't require fertilizing, as does lawn grass, %26amp; it has the ability to aerate the soil, thus reducing concerns over soil compaction. It has longer roots, enabling it to access water at deeper levels.

http://landscaping.about.com/cs/lawns/a/...

Be aware that clover attracts bees %26amp; deer.

Good Luck! Hope this helps.
Reply:Here is another picture and how to grow:

http://www.turfshop.co.uk/ct.php
Reply:I think Creeping Thyme would work well for you. You are probably thinking of one of the other thymes that are taller. There are quite a few varieties, but Creeping Thyme will stay low.

Another advantage to this plant is that it is very drought tolerant. It does not need much water. I have some in a garden area that is pretty far away from the house and not easy to water. With much neglect during a drought here, it is doing great.

Kinky mother-in-law is creeping me out?

Okay, this is a strange one. I have been with my husband since we were kids. His mother and I never were best friends but got along. She's now in her mid-late 50's and has gotten really strange. I don't know if it was "the change" or what? This past year, she has started to call me and message me frequently...sometimes a little drunk. She likes to talk about herself and now her and my father-in-law's sex life! Their favorite places, how she likes it, how she still needs it, how he better be hard...so on. And is constantly acting like she's sexy and every man wants her...trust me she's not hot. She was even pulling her shirt up the other day to show me her "flat stomach" and how good she looks...and she stares at my boobs! And I've heard that from other woman who know her too. What is with her and what do I do?

Kinky mother-in-law is creeping me out?
Geez that is crazy. I think she is sippen the suds or something. Tell your hubby. Maybe he can come up with an idea for you. Good luck
Reply:It seems as if your mother in law feels really close to you perhaps closer than you would like. I don't think it is anything to be alarmed about, whatever you do don't let her know you don't think she doesn't look good. This might hurt her feelings and nobody wants that now do they, no they don't. So if you don't feel comfortable around her I suggest to try avoiding her until you feel more comfortable with the way she speaks to you.
Reply:I think it is the "change" but I've never heard of all the weird stuff that you've said happens. Maybe she wants to feel closer to you and this is the only way she knows how. Maybe she wants you 2 be even closer.......she wants your body. Ha Ha!
Reply:http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...
Reply:wow sounds like she wants to experiment with her daughter-in -law

are you into women?
Reply:I don't think this is a situation you can fix, your only choice is to endure it. Your husband is the only one who can do anything with this. Good luck.
Reply:Let's hope it's the alcohol talking and she's a little lonely and depends on you for friendship just try and find her someone else to befriend and talk to explain to her that you feel uncomfortable with knowing these things that you look at her as a mom and not as a friend leave out the part about espeacily more lol but other than that I dont know what to say I always thought my mother in law was a prude when it came to those things but now I'm starting to see it's not such a bad thing to be a prude.
Reply:It sounds like it's one of two things. The first may simply be that this is how she is with everyone she's comfortable with and this is simply how she is with close friends when she is a bit tipsy. The other option which is very possible, is a midlife crisis. As you say she's in her mid-late 50's, her child is married, she's gone/going through menopause. It sounds like average midlife crisis, if anything the unusual hyper sexuality and lack of attention towards social taboos is because she's trying to validate herself as a sexual being despite how she may feel about herself because of her age.

The options for you are either try to just nod and smile or talk to her about it and just tell her you're not comfortable with how she's behaving around you. Who knows, if you talk to her about it she may just really need someone to listen and that in itself may solve the problem.

I bought some phlox the creeping kind - how do you plant it?

It came in a 12 x 12 chunk, kind of like sod and it was growing in sand and manure. I tried to cut it into 8ths or make plugs out of it and it wasn't cooperating. Was I supposed to plant the 12 x 12 chunk all by itself? I thought with plugs, it would spread but there must be some trick to it.

Yes. they are beautiful.

You can plant "plugs" of it.

I've done that. I didn't dig real

deep holes, though.

I planted them in shallow holes..

bout 2-1/2 deep.

I didn't "cut" it into plugs.

I "separated" it as to not cut the

roots.

Good luck.
Reply:Wet it good, %26amp; pull pieces away..Plant them a few inches apart..It needs full sun to really go to town.

How to get rid of creeping charlie. I have tried weed b gone max without results. Help?

If Roundup is just making it mad then get a can of brush be gone and use that. You need to use a systemic killer. Neither of the ones I mentioned will hurt your soil but they do kill what they touch. When you spray with weed killer add a drop of dish soap to the mixture to help it stick, I also used a drop of two of cooking oil. Wait till it is over 70 to spray and no danger of rain in 24 hours.

How to get rid of creeping charlie. I have tried weed b gone max without results. Help?
Creeping Charlie likes shady and moist conditions, so if there's any way to change your conditions then you will start to discourage it. Otherwise it does look like it's a case of finding the right weed killer - check the link below for details.
Reply:You need a weed killer with trimec. Bayer makes one, but there are more. And I was told, by a pro, that the best time to spray is June. The temp is right and the plant is in full bloom. I would check at you local garden center or greenhouse NOT HOME DEPOT OR LOWE'S and see what is available in your area.
Reply:it can be a tough plant. try roundup and be ready to spray more than once. a second dose about 10 days after the first one may do it.
Reply:I have pulled mine out in area,s, but a lawn service is probably the best answer.

Please help me...past is creeping up on me...?

i'm going to make this as short as possible..and easy to understand. I met a guy the end of last year. I thought we got along pretty well. I felt really comfortable with him. I don't usually feel comfortable with anyone. He treated me different then everyone i've ever met. I'm 20 but I'm not the usual 20 year old college kid. I dropped out..and I only seem to hit it off with older people. That's pretty much why I had no friends in school...ever. We were listening to his ipod. We both loved the artist. Immediatly he could pick out my fave songs on any of their albums. Long story short...we got along well. He even gave me a kiss on the cheek when we left. I was NOT expecting that. I guess I figured why even try to be friends with people anymore because I only seem to get crushed. I don't know what I did but he seemed to like me. But Idk if it was b/c he's naturally nice? I e-mailed him...he wants to see me again. seemed really excited. no1 gets excited to see me. how do i go about this?

Please help me...past is creeping up on me...?
It sounds like you have low self-esteem issues. You find it hard to make friends because you don't know why anybody would be interested in you.

It also sounds like you may be very mature for your age - that's usually why people make more friends with people older than them.

Perhaps this guy is the same as you - more mature than other people your age. He might find your maturity very attractive.

The fact that he can pick your favourite music says a lot to me, because music tells us a lot about a person. So I would say that he likes what he sees when he looks into your soul.

I would suggest that you should not over-analyze this - it could be just what it looks like. He apparently has a lot in common with you and he wants to be friends. So be friends with him.

And the most important thing about friendship is to be honest with him. It might be a good idea to let him know what you put in your question - you feel comfortable with him, you like him and you're interested in seeing if you two share any other interests.

Keep in mind that he might be in the same boat as you are - perhaps he's not made many friends in his own age group and he's excited at finally finding someone his own age that he can relate to.

Then see where it leads.

But understand this if you understand nothing else - there IS something about you that this guy finds very interesting. He can see it, even if you don't. Generally, we often exaggerate the negatives and ignore the positives about ourselves. It sounds like you're doing this.

That's not a real picture. The real you, the one that he sees, is better than you think it is.

At some point, you'll find out how he sees you. Believe it, and accept that you do have something of value to bring to this friendship.

Good luck.

A math question thats really creeping me out!?

It seems a bit too easy from my current point of view so I'm assuming I've got it wrong. Anyways, here it goes:

The ideal suface area of a surface ball shipped from the factory is 50.25 square inches. The company inspector insists that the balls shipped vary no more than 0.3 inches of this total. To the nearest hundredth, what is the minimum value for the surface area of rubber balls shipped. What is the maximum value?

(This question is suppose to relate to algebra 2)

A math question thats really creeping me out!?
Is it vary .3 inches or square inches?

If it's .3 square inches, you're right it's easy and the smallest SA would be 50.52-.3=50.22 to the nearest hundredth.

If it inches, then you have to calculate the diameter for a surface area of 50.52, subtract .3 inches from that diameter, calculate the SA of the smaller sphere and subtract the two surface areas. Round to the nearest 1/100th of an inch for you final answer.

It's not too well-worded as is, but it's probably one of these two solutions.

My boyfriends little brother is creeping me out! overreacting?

My boyfriend and I have just moved in at his moms house. He has a little brother he seems obsessed with me. He is only 8 but he is telling me he is IN LOVE WITH ME. Buying me rings from the little 25 cent machines and giving them to me. Trying to hold my hand in grocery stores, and if i say no, he will hold on to whatever he can of me. He has already told me that I'm like "a rose".. and kissed my hand twice then told my boyfriend to look at him.. and then kissed me all the way up my arm... Also.. he tries to hug me all the time but puts his face RIGHT IN MY BREASTS! and when I try to move, he will try to keep his face in my breasts! Is this not a problem? or am I overreacting?

p.s. there are a whole lot more things that he has done to freak me out and make me feel uncomfortable but I'll stop there.

%26amp;%26amp; I dont think his actions are normal because I have a large family of many 8 year old children, and none of them seem to act so strange

My boyfriends little brother is creeping me out! overreacting?
You need to move out.

Either back with your parents or you and the beau get a place of your own.

If your beau witnessed any of this behavior, why doesn't he tell his little brother to stop, or said anything to the parents?
Reply:Tht is a weird kid.... maybe u should make one of ur little brothers meet with him so he'll turn (hopefully) normal... if tht doesn't work yell at him.
Reply:OMG tell his mother!
Reply:maybe his mom dosn't give him enough attention so he thinks you might. not an easy situation but somebody needs to set boundaries for him. where is his father?
Reply:The solution and the problem is in your first sentence..."Me and my boyfriend moved into his moms...." Get it?
Reply:This boy is acting wildly inappropriate. You need to tell him to stop assertively. Push him away and tell him that it's not appropriate. Tell your boyfriend and his parents that they need to speak to him too.
Reply:maybe he's watching too much television where he sees all this things he's doing to you. Don't be too much worried. He's 8 I think he's not yet aware of what he's doing. He will still get over with that. Maybe he needs more parenting. He's too exposed on malicious things. Do something about it if hes already 10-12 and he is still doing it to you.

What works best to control "creeping charlie" weed?

Creeping Charlie is very difficult to control. It is best to try to control it chemically.

The product I've had the best results with is 'Trimec', that's the trade name for an active ingredient. Many companies produce products containing trimec, Ortho, Gordon's and Bonide all do for sure. I prefer the Gordon or Bonide products, though that's strictly personal preference.

Go to your local independent garden center and look for their selective herbicides (weed killers). Find the strongest % of Trimec on the active ingredients list. Choose that product. Again, Bonide and Gordon's each make a version for difficult to control weeds (Ortho may, I'm not sure). Follow the directions on the product.

It will take a couple years to beat it back into submission. It sounds like alot of work, but it's not that bad. I'd do it.

By-the-by, only pull it as a last resort. Any roots you leave in the soil, will regenerate into more creeping charlie. You'll have a 'hydra' like situation, where every head you cut off becomes two more!

Good luck-

I hope that this helps

What works best to control "creeping charlie" weed?
Terrible stuff.

It depends on where it is growing. If it is in your grass, then I would recommend Ortho's Weed-B-Gone. I found this link to what to look for in a herbicide. Note also that this is an excellent time to spray for it.

http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/...

If it is in your flower beds, try Roundup, but be very careful around the plants you want to save. You would need to do thorough hand weeding around desirable plants.

Good luck!
Reply:Here is a recipe I got to curb creeping charlie.

Best time to apply: Fall

8 tsp Borax per gallon of water.

Apply 1 gallon to 100 square feet.

Should kill 90% of ground ivy.

Apply only once a year and only 2 years in a row.

Active ingred-Boron. It is toxic to many grasses, perennials, and vegetables. DO NOT OVER APPLY!
Reply:Creeping charlie is a member of the mint family, also referred to as ground ivy. The best way to control the spread and growth is to allow your grass to grow taller. The grass can then keep the charlie in check.

Looking for a fragrant woody creeping herb that attracts bees?

Hi:

Creeping Thyme is good. Another great creeping herb is Rosemary. It has blue tone flowers in the summer and bees love it. Rosemary is a good evergreen in warmer climates and will do well in containers in colder climates. Sweet Woodfuff is another herb that will do well.

Many herbs produce fragrant flowers and bees will be attracted to even the low growers.

Another herb is creeping Sweet Marjoram. This is a close family member to Oregano.

Hope this has helped some and if you need some further help, feel free to contact me at my web site. Best of luck to you. I will show direct you to my site map and look through the different sections as well as the Landcape Articles section as I have some topics on herbs.

mother of thyme should do the trick!

Has anyone had success killing creeping charlie/ground ivy?

I bought some stuff made by Ortho that was supposedly made to kill this stuff and it hasn't worked. Anybody have success with a different product?

That stuff sux!

I had it climbing up my house causing damage.

You can either dig up all the roots OR get a chemical sprayer and fill it with dilute bleach (3%)
Reply:i'm answering something you put on one of my questions, yes i did see the whole movie but I had choclate and I've got a short attention span as it is and that did'nt help it.The only reason I went and saw it was my 17 year old sister was seeing it and Orlanda Bloom was in it!
Reply:Round up double strengh, 6 oz per gallon. Spray in the morning so you have the least drift.

Can anybody tell me about Creeping Lily Turf (Liriope spicata?)?

some sites tell me these need full sun, others say they do best in full shade....what gives?

Can anybody tell me about Creeping Lily Turf (Liriope spicata?)?
Creeping Lily Turf can actually handle equally about any lighting such as full sun, filtered sun, and deep shade.
Reply:liriope can take sun or shade. in intense hot sun however, the blades have a tendency to get scorch. if you go with the green liriope, they will spread by underground runners and can be invasive. i like the variegated because they do not spread and have a more formal appearance as a result.

Can you put up with creeping abuse, or do you recognize it and end it quickly?

For example, I cancelled all future appointments with my hair dresser today, because he did 3 terrible things during our last appointment, because he thought I gave him a cold the month before. I did not. My hair was pulled and combed so roughly that one of the assistants complained. Also, he "ran out of" the chemical in the dye that prevents it from being painful. It was not the first time there were problems with that chemical, so I realized that there is a pattern of abuse with this guy and he has to go. I didn't complain at the time, because his behavior was horrifying but I wasn't keen on costing him his job.

Do you have a similar experience?

Can you put up with creeping abuse, or do you recognize it and end it quickly?
Hi Zelda~In the situation you describe, I wouldn't tolerate it the very first time. I suspect you paid him, didn't you? I would not have. If complaining could cost him his job, it's like the old saying: "It all started when she hit me back." I assume he doesn't own the place, so it's not too late to report it to his manager or whatever. I wouldn't put it off too long. I noticed you said you "..realized that there is a pattern of abuse with this guy." I wonder what made you think it was because he believed you gave him a cold, then? If this is "creeping abuse" (cute way to put it!) I suggest you do two things. Never, ever go there again. Make a complaint, but I don't think it would be wise to mention the "cold" thing. For one, it rather contradicts the "pattern," %26amp; also it's introducing something personal, when the fact is he's done, %26amp; did a bad job. You'll seem more credible to whomever you talk with, if you focus on his neglect %26amp; incompetence. Consider the response, if you make this even the slightest "personal" issue? I've seen some small claims cases where the woman's hair had been damaged, but two factors made the judge's eyebrows go up: The woman paid %26amp; didn't say a word at the time, %26amp;/or she implied there was a personal issue. I'm not saying you're going to small claims, but the principle is the same, isn't it? Keep your FOCUS. Friends, %26amp; people you love are entitled to a second chance, but not a professional who is supposed to be doing you a professional service! (It's nice to be nice, but not "too" nice!)
Reply:Good for you! Seems he's trying to cover his you know what %26amp; he's not worth your time at all. Report It

Reply:UUHHMMM..don't go there again, damn, surely there are more hairdressers in town, stay away from the drama queen.
Reply:I did have an experience with a male hairdresser once. I had long hair and my hair is very thick...and there was a knot of hair, not visible to the naked eye, underneath the rest of my hair. I asked for a short hairdo and he told me that he had to COMB the knot out first. All he had to do was cut it out from beneath the rest of my hair, and then cut the rest of my hair into a short hairdo. So as he tugged and pulled with his comb for about 40 minutes...I ended up with a headache [literally] and a stomach ache. I never returned, and if a I got another knot in my hair, I would cut it out myself. Sometimes, I have even cut my own hair and others think that it looks professional...I learned this from my mother because she used to cut her own hair in front of the bathroom mirror. If I don't feel like doing it myself, I go to another

hairdresser.
Reply:First things first...is there a higher source you can go to, say, a manager or the salon or something like that? IMMEDIATELY, and I mean IMMEDIATELY (this is the most important step) go to them, explain the WHOLE thing, including the fact that you think it was payback for giving him the cold, to the manager or whoever and highly recommend that he be either talked to or fired. Also, ask them to keep you anonymous.

Then, stop going to that salon, disappear completely and never go back. I don't care how good he is on a regular basis, STOP. Don't go back ever again. If you get calls, have a relative answer them and tell the caller you don't live there anymore. Anything.

Just stay away. You wouldn't want this to turn ugly.

Good luck!
Reply:Stay away from him. If he got that viscious over a cold I would hate to know what he would do over something serious. If he is great on a regular basis still don't go, find someone else! Also, report him like the girl said above and stay anonymous. Good luck and I liked everyone elses advice above me too.
Reply:Yes I always end negative or nasty behavior even when its with friends, family, co-workers, boyfriends, neighbors, hairdressers, loved ones etc...........you need to stop the behavior right in their traps and it could be in any situation in life no one has the right to abuse another its wrong and what goes around does come around....

Help how do I kill creeping charlie? it's really aggressive.?

DON'T PULL IT! You will make more plants. Go to your garden center or greenhouse NOT HOME DEPOT or LOWE'S and ask them. I use a Bayer product with trimec. It has to be spread in the proper weather 2X. They will have the stuff and all the advice you need.

Help how do I kill creeping charlie? it's really aggressive.?
The problem is your focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face. I think the next time you should ask yourself "Am I on the right track here?". I don't mean to be rude but people like you I really pity. So maybe you could use the few brain cells you have and take advantage of the knowledge I have given you now. Good luck.
Reply:Pull, pull and pull some more if it's around plants that you don't want to kill. The more roots you pull up, the better, and dispose of the pieces you pull up - I swear it roots itself overnight. If it's in an area that you can spray, use a glyphosate solution (commonly sold at garden centers as Round-Up), or spray with a solution of 4 parts apple cider vinegar to 1 part water. Both spray solutions are non-selective (they will kill whatever they come in contact with), but will do a good job on ol' creepy chuck, as I call this invader! The vinegar solution is especially good in a sunny spot. If you want to spray around important plants, you can put some spray solution in a cup and brush it on the plants with a paint brush so as not to get overspray on desirable plants. Pull up the dead creeping charlie and check in a month or two to make sure you didn't miss any. Good Luck!!
Reply:Nickwoot, what question arr you trying to answer. To some people gardening and keeping a nice looking yard IS important! Creeping Charlie is a very aggressive weed ! My sister had it so thickly meshed in her lawn that she had to hire on the application of a special chemical solution by a professional. GOOD LUCK !

Is MLK'S dream slowly creeping towards becoming America's Nightmare?

I doubt that MLK's dream involved an elitist with racist beliefs would win the DNC nomination soley because of his skin color

In fact, I'm sure that was not his dream.

Is MLK'S dream slowly creeping towards becoming America's Nightmare?
MLK's dream was for blacks to rise up to equal footing with others, be self reliant and make there own way in the universe. Some how this changed to them wanting to depend soley on government and other organazations to exist and to bully there way to freebies
Reply:The NIGHTMARE is the way the blacks have ABANDONED MLK, only to PRETEND to salute him once a year.

"Judge based on character" is the LAST thing blacks want. They WANT to get special treatment based on the color of their skin.

Judged by Character would be EQUALITY and that "nonsense" flies in the fact of multiculturalism, "diversity awareness", political correctness, and Affirmative Action.
Reply:Why would MLK's dream be creeping towards becoming america's nightmare? Dr. King wanted a society where anyone could be free to be whatever they wanted to be, despite race. In that respect, no. We're not creeping towards a 'nightmare'.

We all have short comings, as well as things that we have in our lives, goals for ourselves, and plans for our futures, that not everyone agrees with. Does that mean that just because someone points these out that we are any more or less close to MLK's dream? No. George W. Bush had many short comings, and we all knew what he had in store for us the second time around, yet the majority of Americans voted for him. Nobody was saying anything about moving further from Dr. King's dream then.

I've heard alot of people bring up MLK, and a departure from his dream. And ever since Sen. Obama has been in the spotlight, this kind of talk has tripled. The only real reason this issue of 'lost dreams' is even being debated is because Sen. Obama is a black man running for President.

Dr. Martin Luther King spoke about peace and unity, not just for blacks, but for everyone. He promoted understanding, just leadership, patience, and wisdom. President Bush was not a pilar of any of those things, and if he was, they were serverely overshadowed by his lust for war and an over-arching need to pump funds and soilders into a war American's, in general, didn't understand nor want. He did not have an ear for the people, just eyes for war. Bush showed a failure to understand the people, unjust leadership, and a signifiicant lack of patience and wisdom.

If departure from MLK's dream is the subject matter, then we already have someone to blame for that.....and I'll give you a hint, it's not Barack Obama...
Reply:NO , things can't get no worse than it have been already . Because if those 2 face news reporters especially at FOX NEWS and WABC RADIO would stop spreading lies and get face to face with whoever they have a problems with and get whatever they have on got their chest off instead of constantly filling the airways with a bunch of worthless filth , things will not be no where near as bad as it seems anyway. SPEAKING OF PEOPLE LIKE EX. ( BILL O'REILY, SEAN HANNITY, RUSH LAMBAUGH, AND CURTIS SLIWA .Because they don't know no more than they hear about anyone that they are flapping their damn lips about WITH THE SAME OLD THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
Reply:MLK's dream did not involve one man, such as Obama. It involved an entire race.

Therefore, while Obama's potential victory may be nice for him, it is sort of symbolic in nature.
Reply:It seems to be

when do us white people get a copy of all the rules and things that we can't do or say that is acceptable for the black communitee?
Reply:No. It is up to us as people to come together. And not let

these polarizing figures divide us.
Reply:maybe, if you don't like black people.

to the rest of us, multiculturalism isn't a problem.
Reply:What you talkin' 'bout Willis?
Reply:Why could you possibly think that?

I don't get it!

Why is it that the creeping socialist democrats hate the mention of Sen. Joe McCarthy's name?

The McCarthy hearings were held and he came across as over zealous. The people he brought in to testify that hid behind the fifth amendment dug their own graves. McCarthy didn't have them banned from anything. The Hollywood crowd behind the scenes worked under different names and others didn't get hired by the studio's because their hierarchy for the most part were patriots and were afraid to take a chance. Those who were so called blackballed, like that directer Biederman, only have themselves to blame. Biederman's wife worked all through the blackball era and Biederman let her be the breadwinner while he continued his socialist way of life. We now have the offspring of those who brought up their children despising the USA in charge of our higher education. They hire Super liberal professors who get tenure and influence their students. Conservatives are shouted down on College Campus' and are rarely invited to speak. Don't they have a right to be heard? ACLU?

Why is it that the creeping socialist democrats hate the mention of Sen. Joe McCarthy's name?
the ACLU only protects liberals
Reply:Because Socialists, by nature do not like Fascists like Joe McCarthy.

Liberals do not like Fascism either, very few do but the Fascists themselves.

Joe McCarthy was for taking away Constitutional rights based on political choice, the ACLU defends Americans Constitutional rights. Ask the gun owner in Texas that they are fighting for.(1.)
Reply:true conservatives haven't been a significant force since the Eisenhower era. "creeping socialist democrats" hate the mention of McCarthy's name because it represents a kind of flag waiving nationalism that borders on fascism. true conservatives, like Ron Paul for example, are more popular on the college scene than a decade ago.
Reply:He identified and slowed their infection rate. It is time for a real culling.
Reply:The only crime these people committed was that they thought the 1st amendment applied to them. The Blacklist was very real thing. Stop hiding behind your ignorance.

The ACLU has a history of supporting the rights of anyone to march or speak. They helped the American Nazis get permission to march in Skoky, Illinois. They've represented the KKK on several occasions.
Reply:Because he was a nutcase that pointed at anyone who disagreed with him as being a communist.

He was nothing but fueling another Salem Witch Trial.

He was eventually censored by his own senate colleagues.

He is known for his "politics of fear" much like Hitler was.
Reply:Pity the poor, demented Rrepublicans. All they get for their fanaticism is to be laughed at by the world.

So,so sad.........
Reply:Joe McCarthy and his ilk are dangerous. Their ideology simply say that if you don't agree with me, then you are the enemy. And the ACLU fights for the rights granted in the Bill of Rights. Please explain to me how that is a bad thing?
Reply:So ABSOLUTELY NO Republican professors teach at universities and no Republican students go to college? You don't know what you're talking about.

Ok, my guinea pig is creeping me out..?

He's rumbling and shaking his hips at ME. Is this normal?

Ok, my guinea pig is creeping me out..?
Hi,

My guinea pigs do this too! You don't say what sex your pig is, but if it is a male like mine then I may have a solution!

My guinea pigs used to be kept togther but they suddenly started to rumble and grunt at each other, walking slowly and swaying from side to side.

We discovered that this was them fighting (or getting ready to) and were being territorial.

We could have had them neutered but this is quite expensive (around £50 per piggie) so we split them up instead.

They now have no problem being on their own and are happy to run around outside in their run, just seperately!

Obviously, if your guinea pig not male then this message has not helped you! However if it is, then it may be being territorial towards you!

Hope this helps!

Reply:mine does the same thing

especially when it hears the thong song
Reply:Haha I have never heard of a guinea pig Rumblestrutting at a human before!! They do that when they want to mate, hehe! Looks like you have an admirer.
Reply:LOL. usally this means he is playing. mine do that to.
Reply:He want you girl he is ready to mate.
Reply:There's two reasons why they do this - they're flirting with a girl or they're about to fight. If there's another male and a female is around, it can be both! If your piggy is male he's likely goofing off. If his hackles raise, THEN you've got a problem!
Reply:only, if you're a guinea pig.
Reply:Lol, i dont think so, i had two guinea pigs and ive never witness them doing that
Reply:Normal behavior, just part of their charm. Enjoy it.

Is the fruit of a creeping fig plant edible?

Apparently not:

Form: self-climbing vine with clinging rootlets; fine textured foliage when young

Seasonality: evergreen

Size: climbs 15-20ft up vertical walls (or higher)

Leaves: simple, heart-shaped, small when young; changes to larger, 2-4in long, oblong and leathery form when mature

Flowers: not significant, rare

Fruit: rarely seen; droopy small fig-like fruit, plum-sized; not edible

How can I make a creeping vine spread faster to cover a cinder block wall?

Fertilizing, watering and other proper maintenance techniques alway help plants grow well. However, certain plants grow faster than others so there are limits to what you can do. You may want to consider Virginia creeper and Boston ivy as they are very fast growers.

How can I make a creeping vine spread faster to cover a cinder block wall?
Itry is correct. You can use a mild solution of MiracleGro every time you water. 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water.
Reply:Get Miracle Grow!
Reply:Use a trellis against the wall to train it upwards and give it more support. And fertilize well.

How many people think that (CREEPING VINE) is a good name for a band?

it's ok. ONE CONDITION: you've got to olay rock and indie rock (laughs)

Anyway the name is good.

How many people think that (CREEPING VINE) is a good name for a band?
I dunno... I think its kinda weird... go with something cool like a one word thing... no one likes a mouthful of bandname... a contraction is good too... case in point-- switchfoot--- amazing band name with a cool background to it...

Place the piece without roots into a glass jar filled with water. Keep it in a sunny window and roots should begin to develop within a week or two.

Is this Deja Vu? Its Creeping me out.?

Lately (in the past two months) I have been experiencing this weird feeling. Oh btw, im 16. Anyways, lately, I will be doing something in then in a flash, maybe like a second, all I see is a black and white image. I dont know what it is. It might be from my point of view, or some one elses...but its from someones point of view, and doind something similar or almost the same as what I was doing when the image or flash occurred. What is this? does anyone know. Also, i dont know if this has anything to do with it...but lately I have had troubling remembering stuff. If someone tells me something i can remember it pretty well. But if i read a book, I have trouble remembering the line i just read, so i read it several times through. I dont know if thats associated but maybe?

Is this Deja Vu? Its Creeping me out.?
This is NOT DEJAVU. I know, because I experience Deja Vu regularly and it is nothing like you are describing. It sounds like you have a physical condition and I would recommend seeing the doctor immediately... it couldn't hurt just to check it out!

Is the fruit of the creeping fig edible?

The General Consensus appears to be no.

Which [possibly] scented low growing/creeping plants could you use to make a lawn that never needs to be cut?

are chamomile clover or daisy a possibility, or do these live symbiotically with grass....unable to grow as a monoculture?

thymes are scented, but they look straggly and grow too high.

would saxifrage work, or are the too delicate.

in all of the above..i am thinking of very minimal wear from shoes...as i would like to walk on it barefoot to relax, revitalise and be kind to my feet......after all theyve done for me !!

Which [possibly] scented low growing/creeping plants could you use to make a lawn that never needs to be cut?
Chammomile's ok, but I prefer any of the creeping herbs (thyme, oregano, lemon or bee balms). Strawberries, esp. wood strawberries (not the cultivated producers) make a good groundcover too, as do some clovers.

My boyfriends little brother is creeping me out!?

My boyfriends little brother is creeping me out!?
His little hormones are acting up.He's a little pervert. It is sweet that he is in love with you,but you got to stop him from that behaviour. It really don't mean anything but if you don't nip it in the bud.He will grow up to be a big pervert. Just talk to him and tell him its not right to act like that.Good luck with the little nimp.
Reply:He's just being 8... I wouldnt worry about that much.. Talk to you bf about it.

I really wouldn't worry about.. He's just into you right now. Your his older brothers girl... Your new to the house. If it keeps on try talking to your bf's mom about it...

Or just tell the little perv to get lost...

My nephew ws like that... TOWARDS ME! Hopefully he has grown out of it...
Reply:Does he get in fights with other kids, or act violent? Did he grope you or acted kind of explicit with you? If he did he might be a little high on testosterone and he needs to see a doctor. If he's just saying that he's in love with you, it's just a phase and you shouldn't worry about it.

My lawn is infested with this weird little plant that some call creeping charlie how do I get rid of this?

My lawn is infested with this weird little plant that some call creeping charlie how do I get rid of this?
You can use what's called a " broad leaf " herbiside , that will killit, any any other broad leaves , like plaintain... I too have an infestation

of old Creeping Charlie ... I let my grass grow long in mid spring, when the Charlie is growing the fastest. this forces the Charlie to grow tall

to get to the light .I then set my mower at the lowest setting, and mow it down. This seems to sap its growing ability ... a couple of times , and its under control ( though not gone ) I'm ready to hit it with the

herbicde , come spring ... Good Luck !
Reply:I too have the same problem. Its horrible. iIhave heard all you can do is keep working at it pulling it up don't allow it to spread. or use a spray weed killer on the areas then replant with grass.
Reply:The first step is basic lawn care- maintain a proper pH to encourage grass to grow. Do not cut the grass too short- 2 inches is a good height. A lot of broad leaf weed killers will control creeping charlie or ground ivy including those used in most weed and feed products. However this weed is very persistent and reproduces both vegetatively and by seed. You will most likely have to go back and spot treat with another product- try to find a product that has creeping charlie or ground ivy on the label. There are several on the market. Finally in the fall reseed those areas that had an infestation as there will likely be thin areas in the lawn. Good luck.
Reply:Landscapers spray glyphosate-based herbicides (Roundup, for example) on creeping charlie to kill this invasive weed. The University of Minnesota Extension offers a home remedy for killing creeping charlie that involves the use of Borax. You should be able to find it on the net at http://www.extension.umn.edu/info-u/plan...

Is this true? its creeping me out!!!?

on " the wizard of oz " , is it true that one of the munchkins hung himself on set ( forreal ) , and that at one part you could see him in the background in the movie ? it sounds really creepy !! i wanna know if its real, and if it is what part does the munchkin show up in the background ? please %26amp; thanks ! (:

Is this true? its creeping me out!!!?
It's not real, it is actually just a bird that looks like someone when you dont look carefully enough. If you do look really carefully, you can tell that it is a bird and not a munchkin suicide.
Reply:No it's just a bird. Watch the video. In the beginning it bends its neck down to the ground, then it spreads its wings.
Reply:No, it is not true. They did a special on this on TV Land and it showed that it was just a shadow and not a munchkin hanging himself. That was just a rumor to get more people to watch the movie.
Reply:Why would they have that in the movie? Get real!

Help! this boy is creeping me out on myspace?

So ok, I met this boy on myspace and he got my msn and we have started talking, he told me that he fancy’s me and then he asked me out…. He also gave me his phone number, he is emo and he told me all the stuff about how much he gets hurt when he is dumbed and stuff. And I don’t wont to talk to him any more because he tells me he loves me and I have never met him before.

He is sort of scaring me…

What should I do, block him, come straight with him?

When he asked me out, I said yes because I didn’t want to hurt him… I have no feelings for him what so ever!

I don’t know what to do, he has my myspace habbo and msn

he knows what i look like!

I KNOW IT WAS WRONG TO TELL HIM MY HOME TOWN! i dident relise until days later!

Help! this boy is creeping me out on myspace?
come straight with him but still keep in touch.
Reply:Block him and do not tell guys you will go out with them just so their feelings dont get hurt. You cant babysit all the guys who ask you out. They will survive if you say no. Be honest with people.

Set your myspace to private also because you cant handle it.
Reply:BLOCK HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or, tell him that your mom or dad has found out and has grounded you without computer etc... and that you cannot contact him for a while..... if that fails BLOCK HIM!
Reply:Who CARES if you hurt him?

He isn't your immediate family or best friend.

He's a stranger online.

Just block his myspace, his IM address, the whole nine yards.

You never know if he is who he says he is.

And it isn't your cross to bear.

Chances are, he told you that he gets depressed when he gets dumped because he gets over attached (as he's proven) and freaks the girl out. (Also proven).

CUT.

ALL.

TIES.
Reply:block him and forget him..but be careful in future hun.
Reply:He is probably lying about loving you,etc or else is just means it in a friendly, casual way.

People online shouldn't make yo feel uncomfortable. You should just block out all contact with him. I hope he doesn't know you phone number, if he does and he continues to rin/text you, just ignore it. He will probably forget about you and move onto some other randomer on the internet!
Reply:Block him on everything. He'll get the message.
Reply:Just cut em off...n don't meet anyone else on myspace. Meet em in person then get their myspace.
Reply:oh boy. be straight with him.. you shouldof never lead him on by saying yes.. but u need to end that NOW.

then block him if he keeps bothering you.. next time u wil know better!

in other words.. thats why u talk to just pplz u know on there!
Reply:hello, yes i understand the situation here. this is very serious. this boy could be a pervy old man who is pretending to me a young boy just so he can get some actio0n with young girls. there are very sick ppl in the worls and you need to keep ur eyes open for them and i would suggest blocking him on everything and deleting him and jsut forget about him and if it happens again call the cops. c ya later good luck x
Reply:guys are like that. You are scared of him just because he told u he loves you even you never met him? He must not being seious, guys fools about those things, they are not saying for real. Dont worry about it.
Reply:BLOCK HIM. I've met someone online, almost got raped. Do not meet people online. That stuff on the news is not fake and dont think it wont happen to you because it will! Go out with someone from school not online!
Reply:block him immediately and learn from the mistake. If its still bothering you confide in an adult you trust. You are not the first person to do this so dont feel bad about yourself but take positive action to stop and only keep in contact with people you know and trust from now on. Good luck
Reply:well since he likes you just be like im sorry to say but im a lesbian cuz then he will know you dont like him and you cant hurt him by saying you aint straight but bring the topic in casually like omg i saw the hottest girl today.. and this hot chick asked me out i wanna say yes she is sooo cute omg im sooo happy and stuff like that

Reply:You have to be really firm with her in order to get the message across... some people think that they can persuade someone to try something with them and that you might be into them to. If you don't want to experiment or are very sure you are straight then be firm
Reply:Tell her if she keeps acting this way, you will be forced to terminate your friendship. Make it simple and to the point.
Reply:in a perfect world, you two would start by wrestling around til "oops! my bra came undone!" thats when things get good.

since this is reality, i guess you should remind her that you dont think of her that way. tell her nicely. be sincere about it but not hurtful. you dont want to sound so irritated by it. still take her affection as a compliment. im sure she means well, you should try to return the compassion. be sure that she is aware of your lines and limits and that you only wish to be friends. thats what i would do.
Reply:Well, let her know know that your freeked out about what shes doing to you. And that if she wants to still be friends with you, she'll stop.
Reply:Just tell her "look I know how you feel but as I already told you that I don't feel the same, you are making me uncomfortable so please stop coming on to me"
Reply:make out with her.

just kidding

it's ok. i have lesbian friends that hit on me. just tell her that you're not a lesbian and you just want to be friends.

Then tell her, you and me will go out this weekend and you will find a guy for yourself. I am sure she will like it!! It's a phase.. nothing to lose a friend over.
Reply:you should tell her that you aren't attracked to her. and as harsh as this sounds, you should tell her that in a way she's kinda pushing you away because she's putting you in an awkward situation and you don't know what to do.
Reply:tell her to back off and to respect how you feel... just because she is attracted to you, doesn't mean you have to be attracted to her....
