Should the song Creeping Death by Metallica be considered offensive to Christians?

It just seems wrong to me for a metal band to sing about this. Is it wrong of them to do so????

Slaves

Hebrews born to serve, to the pharaoh

Heed

To his every word, live in fear

Faith

Of the unknown one, the deliverer

Wait

Something must be done, four hundred years

[chorus:]

So let it be written

So let it be done

Im sent here by the chosen one

So let it be written

So let it be done

To kill the first born pharaoh son

Im creeping death

Now

Let my people go, land of goshen

Go

I will be with thee, bush of fire

Blood

Running red and strong, down the nil

Plague

Darkness three days long, hail to fire

[chorus]

Die by my hand

I creep across the land

Killing first born man

Die by my hand

I creep across the land

Killing first born man

I

Rule the midnight air the destroyer

Born

I shall soon be there, deadly mass

I

Creep the steps and flood final darkness

Blood

Lambs blood painted door, I shall pass

[chorus]

Should the song Creeping Death by Metallica be considered offensive to Christians?
I'm a Christian, and a true Metalhead and Metallica Fan. I have no problem with it whatsoever..in fact it's one of My Fave Metallica songs. Whats wrong with writing a song about a Biblical event? Far as I'm concerned all music is Glory unto God.
Reply:Why should it be?
Reply:I don't Consider it offensive. It doesn't really bash Christians it's just about a event in the bible. For some reason people like to take a few words out of a song and use that to say the song if bad. Like my freind who says Iron Maiden if bad because of the "Number of the Beast". All he does is take what the chours says and just keeps on saying it. When the whole song is kinda aganist Satanic stuff. Just to let you know "the God that failed" By:Metallica is about James Mom who was a Christain Scientist who denied treatment for cancer saying god would save her but she still died. People could also consider "Lepar Messiah" By:Metallica bad.
Reply:Your kidding me right. So what's the big friggin whoop darlin, you have a problem with metalica reading there Bible?

What you'd rather have people rappin about sex, drugs, killin people and worshipping satin instead......is that it?
Reply:it probably should be. everything else is offensive to them.

; )
Reply:EVERYTHING even half-way decent %26amp; enjoyable should be deemed "wrong" by a True Christian.
Reply:Well, it's an event that apparently happened in the Christian past. It would be like someone making a song about the American Civil War. :/ Some people wouldn't want to hear it, but it's our history and it would be stupid to be offended by it.

If you'd like to be offended, listen to "The God That Failed", also by Metallica. :)

Rock on. \m/
Reply:Why should it be if you understand what this actually means. Apparently you dont. Its biblical. Its about Passover.
