theres this teacher who tends to be silly a lot. Well he calls me Mar, not mary, Mar. And a few days ago he showed us this thing which i didnt understand. So he had me go up the front and he start to like massage my neck while he explained it and he says "heres mary, a BEAUTIFUL, funny, history loving student" (i was in history) and he said that again today.
i seriously might be overreaticng but i really really dont want it to go on. He is honest, so i really think he ment it wholeheartedly.
please please tell me what to do! i hate it!
Teacher Creeping me out!?
Anytime a teacher puts a hand on you that makes you uncomfortable or an inappropriate gesture, then it should be reported to another teacher you can trust or a counselor at school and definitely to your parents.Unfortunately there are some teachers that feel it is ok for them to do this just because they want to be "cool". Bottom line...REPORT THIS TEACHER!!!! Many times by the district office having some words of warning with him, I am sure he will straighten out real quick...but watch out for your grades taking a drop.He may try to "PAY YOU BACK" for reporting him. In that case, REPORT HIM AGAIN!!!My dad was a parochial teacher for 42 years and I know he would NEVER have put up with a teacher doing that to a student.
Reply:your teacher should never touch you go to your principal with one of your class mates who was there at the time, don't be shy look your principal in the eye and say what was done and tell him you want to be there when he confronts the teacher. stop thinking how do you know that he is honest sounds like a pervert to me
Reply:You have to ignore it. Some adults do that. He will likely (99%) not act on any feelings he might have. He's a teacher your a student, just ignore it, and avoid him.
Reply:just talk to him after class one day and tell him that when he says that sort of thing it makes you feel uncomfortable and to please stop it...
Reply:I don't think you're overreacting. Your gut feeling is usually the right one. I've had plenty of teachers and adults call me "pretty" and it meant nothing more than just that, so I don't think you should be too worried about the "beautiful" comment or the fact that he calls you "Mar." But I don't think he should have "massaged" your neck or touch you in any way. If he does that again, I would suggest you pull away immediately so he gets the hint that you don't like it. If he continues to do it then you really should talk to your counselor about it.
