Creeping Charlie?

We have a HUGE amount of this pesky weed in our yard and don't know how to get rid of it. It grows more into the yard every year.

Creeping Charlie?
RoundUp will work if it's not in the lawn. If in the lawn then you need a broadleaf herbicide. It can also be pulled. Here are some articles that discusses the cultural, mechanical and chemical control of creeping charlie: http://www.urbanext.uiuc.edu/stateline/0...

P.S. There are problems with the use of Borax. It is not without risks and damage to our environment. The following article addresses these issues: http://web.extension.uiuc.edu/champaign/...
Reply:Spray with Round Up!! Round Up goes down to the roots and kills the plant for sure!! It takes 4 to 7 days to start seeing the effect. If the leaves don't wilt and turn brown by that time, you may need to "rough up" the leaves a little (tromp around on the plants, cut them with a weed whacker) to get them to take up the Round Up.

Good Luck!!
Reply:Pour 8 oz. of Borax into 4 oz. of warm water.

Dilute that mixture into 2.5 gallons of water.

Use a watering can to sprinke over the creeping charlie.

You can only do this once a season for 2 seasons.

It helps, but getting rid of the stuff is a nightmare!
Reply:beat it with a stick.
