I'd like to get together with you for a pizza or something. Are you busy this afternoon?" And have your name, phone number and address writen down for her in case she says "I'm busy tonight" out of nervousness. You can even do this while there is a teacher around so that she will be less nervous that you are trying anything funny.

Reply:Good luck! Yeah, it's gonna be hard without creeping her out. Just maybe find out some things about her, classes, interests, where she hangs out, etc. and "accidentally" run into her somewhere, so you can start up a casual conversation, and hopefully a friendship that can lead to something else. Be patient it'll probably take a while, unless you wanna freak her out and get shut down.
